Changes to bus fares from 29th June.
mk metro has announced its first fare revision in two years as a result of increasing costs, especially fuel. However, our 4 week metro saver remains frozen and continues to offer excellent value to regular users.
The majority of our single fares will increase by 10p and our great value day ticket will increase from £3.00 to £3.20. Our weekly ticket increases from £10 to £11 but is now easier to purchase as customers can buy it on bus direct from the driver without the need to obtain a Metro Saver Card. This also means it is transferable and therefore offers greater value than before - Mum can use it to travel to work, Dad can use it to go out on a Friday evening and son or daughter can use it to go shopping on a Saturday
Metro Saver Day ticket will cost £3.20Metro Saver Week will cost £11, but can be purchased direct from the driverMetro Saver Month still £37 (now for 4 weeks)Metro Savers now available in the centre:mk!
From Tuesday 27th May 2008, Metro Savers will only be available from the Discover Milton Keynes Shop in thecentre:mk.
Metro Saver cards are available for purchase between 10.00 and 17.45 Monday - Friday. Discover Milton Keynes is located on the outside of thecentre:mk facing Lloyds Court (next door to Currys and close to door 7).
